Winter Break Camp

Service Description

During this week your child will learn sewing basics and the fundamentals of sewing Duration: Monday - Friday from 10am-3pm (No camp on Christmas day) Skills Learned: Students will learn parts of the machine, how to thread the machine, how to make a bobbin, straight stitch, reverse, zigzag, how to seam finish and more. Projects: During this week of camp students can make a wide variety of projects: Pajama Pants, scarves, Tote Bags, Beanie Hats and much more. Our camps provide a positive, fun, and safe environment where kids can learn a valuable, lifelong skill; gain self-confidence; explore their creative side, and feel pride in their completed projects and accomplishments! Campers receive colorful ribbons for each project completed that they can collect. Those focusing on fashion design earn rosettes for finishing an entire look! Campers receive personal instruction to help them achieve their goals. We have an excellent 5 -1 camper/teacher ratio. Students with different sewing camp focus (fashion, crafting, etc.) and sewing experience levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced) work simultaneously. This adds tremendously to our fun atmosphere of creativity and inspiration!

Cancellation Policy

WORKSHOP CANCELLATION POLICY: PLEASE READ We do not issue refunds on any workshop registrations. If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a credit to use toward any future event if you notify us at least 72 hours before the workshop.*** To cancel and request a credit, email us at diana@sewunik.com. We are unable to offer credits of any kind, or honor reschedule requests, with less than 72 hours advance notice. ***Credits cannot be given for any registrations for workshops hosted by visiting instructors. Due to the nature of these one-time-only workshops, all events hosted by special guests are subject to this policy. Thank you for understanding!*** ***Credits cannot be given for Fashion Camp (Deposits or Full Balance) ***Credits cannot be given for Series Workshops Our classes start on time so please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time in order to set up your sewing space. Those arriving 20 minutes after the start of class will not be admitted and the class fee will be forfeited. SEW UNIK STUDIO, LLC. reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment. Class fees may be transferred to a future class or refunded. There must be at least four students in a class. Supply lists are available upon registration. If one is not available at that time, you will be notified as soon as it becomes available. By registering for a class, I grant SEW UNIK STUDIO, LLC. permission to photograph or video myself or my child’s participation in SEW UNIK STUDIO, LLC. classes. I also grant SEW UNIK STUDIO, LLC. permission to use the photos in a promotional capacity including but not limited to print materials, website and social media. In the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather or other Act of God, you will receive a credit to take another class at a later date.
