In Intro to Sewing Part 1, you learned the fundamentals—now it’s time to apply those skills to a complete project!

You learned how to make a buttonhole—now let’s create a project that uses buttons. You learned how to sew a zipper—now let’s apply that skill while constructing a bomber jacket!

During this five-week adult sewing workshop, you’ll choose from four exciting sewing projects and receive step-by-step assistance as you bring your creation to life.

If you’re free this Saturday from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM, we’d love for you to join us at the Chrysler Museum of Art for a special community service project.

We’ll be partnering with Operation Smile and GFH to make Smile Bags for children with cleft lip and cleft palate. ❤️

I took my first class this past weekend. It filled me with so much unexpected joy. IDK about you all but there are a lot of sewing studios out here in Hampton Roads that I've "heard" are clicky, unfriendly and elitist. That's why I had been hesitant to start learning. This shop is 100% nothing like that. EVERYONE was kind and friendly. I'm really excited to join and meet more people apart of this studio. Pumped for the upcoming course starting in August!

Join us from 5:30 PM–8:30 PM for our very first Sewing Circle.

This is normally a membership-only plan, but for our first session, we’re opening it to the public for FREE so you can come check out the vibe!

Please note: This is not a learn-to-sew course. Sewing Circle is for those who already have a project they’re working on, alterations they need to finish, or something they want to bring in and work on with minimal assistance.

📢 Looking for an ASL Interpreter 📢

Sew Unik Studio is currently looking for an ASL interpreter to assist a deaf student during one of our sewing classes.

⏰ Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

📍 Location: Sew Unik Studio, 6521 Auburn Dr, Va beach

This is a paid opportunity. The interpreter will assist with communication between the instructor and student throughout the class to help ensure an inclusive and successful learning experience.
