What is Sewing Circle?
A welcoming studio community where you can work on personal sewing projects, get guidance along the way, and enjoy creating alongside fellow sewists. Bring an idea, a work in progress, or a project you have been meaning to finish.
Who is it for? Who can join?
Sewing experience is required. You must know how to thread and operate a sewing machine independently. Instructors can assist with projects, but these sessions do not teach beginner sewing fundamentals.
New to sewing? Start with Sewing 101 or Intro to Sewing Fundamentals, then come join the circle.
When do we meet?
Every other Monday, 5:30–8:30 p.m. Membership includes up to two sessions per month. Check the meeting calendar for current dates and reserve your session.
Where is Sewing Circle held?
Sew Unik Studio — Virginia Beach. 6521 Auburn Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23464. Find us in College Park Plaza, off South Military Highway.
What does membership include?
Up to two sessions each month, studio space for your personal sewing projects, guidance and support, and a chance to socialize with fellow sewists. You also receive access to our private Sewing Circle group on the Sew Unik app for updates, inspiration, and community support.
How much does it cost?
$25 per month with a three-month commitment ($75 total minimum). Review the membership terms before completing your enrollment.
How do I join?
Click “Join the Circle,” choose a meeting date, and follow the prompts to purchase the Sewing Circle membership and reserve your session. Existing members can log in to use their plan.
